World‘s Extreme Travelers

The Process: How to find the Group of the „Extreme Travelers" objectively?

Travelers are ranked in 9 renowned lists set-up by official institutions and travel clubs:
  • Official institutions: (1) UN list of all countries + territories, (2) ISO list of the administrative units of all countries, (3) UNESCO World Heritage List, (4) Tentative List of the UNESCO,
  • The lists of travel clubs: (5) Travelers’ Century Club; (6) Most Traveled People; The Best Travelled – (7) their core list and (8) the accumulated list of now 17 special lists, and the (9) World's Greatest Globetrotters.
We define "extreme travelers" as those who excel in these lists: They belong to the Top 10 in each list. Their "points" in these lists define
them objectively. Since the number of the lists grow we want to be a collecting tank for all lists in existence and those still to come. We
make a cross-comparison of all lists by a process that all travelers can agree with.

All the data are from May 1, 2017, all from TBT if possible. We don't comment, we don't change, we only combine existing data, nothing
else. But the result is astonishing, it was for us, and it will be for you. If all travelers will participate in the same lists the ranks will change.
